The emergency support included both dry food and cooked meals, ensuring that vulnerable households received immediate relief during the critical post-flood period. The food distribution program covered some of the worst-affected areas of Mirsarai, Banshkhali, and Anwara Upazilas, with Banshkhali being one of the key intervention locations. OPCA staff and volunteers worked together to identify the most vulnerable households and ensure that relief reached those in greatest need.
Speaking on the occasion, an OPCA representative said:
